KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 5): The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) had today arrested former Sabah chief minister Tan Sri Musa Aman at 10:05am in relation to a corruption investigation.

The MACC said in a statement today the commission obtained permission from the Attorney General's Chambers to arrest Musa. The MACC said he was arrested at the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya.

"Musa will be brought to the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court on Nov 5, 2018 at 2pm to face the charges," the MACC said.

The MACC said Musa will face several charges under the Anti-Corruption Act 1997.
