KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 2): Leweko Resources Bhd saw some 321.89 million shares, representing a 2.09% stake in the company traded off-market today.

Bloomberg data showed that the shares were transacted at 30.5 sen per share for a total consideration of RM2.06 million.

The parties involved in the transactions were unknown at press time.

As at Oct 6, 2017, Leweko’s largest shareholder was its managing director Datuk Leong Wei Kong who held 99.33 million or 30.86% stake.

Its second largest shareholder Lambang Insan Sdn Bhd held 40.94 million shares, equivalent to a 12.72% equity stake.

Leweko is involved in the manufacturing of precast concrete and property development.

For the first quarter ended Sept 30, 2017, its net profit dropped 88% to RM92,000 from RM749,000, while revenue fell to RM6.25 million from RM9.85 million.

The lower financial performance was attributed to lower contribution from the property division, as its projects were nearing completion.

Leweko closed unchanged at 30.5 sen, giving it a market capitalisation of RM98.18 million.
