KUALA LUMPUR (July 27): Lay Hong Bhd was actively traded today after its executive chairman Yap Hoong Chai disposed of his 598,000 warrants in the company.

At 10.30am, shares in Lay Hong rose 0.5 sen or 0.65% to 77 sen with 13.83 million shares traded, while Lay Hong's warrant fell 0.5 sen or 1.22% to 40.5 sen with 12.83 million units done.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Lay Hong said Yap has disposed of warrants through open market on July 25, shortly two days after he disposed of the warrants.

On July 23, Yap disposed 357,900 warrants and the following day he sold an additional 3.31 million warrants.

Yap had also sold the shares through the direct interest on July 20 with 1.97 million shares.
