KUALA LUMPUR (July 16): The Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show 2018 (KLIMS’18) is back. Organised by the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA), KLIMS’18 will run from Nov 23 to Dec 2 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre.

Themed “Beyond Mobility”, MAA said one of the highlights of the show is the electrification of cars.

In a statement, MAA president Datuk Aishah Ahmad said the event will showcase concept cars, bikes and commercial vehicles. Car accessories and car care products companies will also be joining the event.

“Growing interest in vehicle customisation, both interior and exterior, are driving the global car accessories market. Demand for modification, maintenance and repair have skyrocketed in Asean countries, with raising consumer inclination towards an entertaining driving experience and vehicle customisation among a young population," Aishah said.

"Major manufacturers for Japan, North America and Europe are showing higher interest in Asean countries," she added.

MAA is targeting over 100 exhibitors and over 350,000 visitors for KLIMS’18. Exhibitors include V-Kool, OSRAM, PG Perma Glass, PG Pro QPlus, Motul, Elite Looks, Be Pure, GetF1, NGK Spark Plugs, NTK Oxygen Sensors, STP, Armor All, Kaki Motor, Ravenol and Ottoman.
