KUALA LUMPUR: Kenanga Investment Bank Bhd (Kenanga) intends to continue its efforts in promoting financial literacy and increasing retail participation in stock trading on Bursa Malaysia.

Lee Kok Khee, Kenanga's executive director and head of equity broking said the investment bank will continue organising activities and competitions to help boost retail participation in the stock market from over 20% to over 30% in the next two years.

He added that Kenanga had allocated "north of RM500,000" of its operating expenditure in 2015 for this purpose.

Today, it concluded the Ken Trade Trading Challenge with a 3.5 hour Face Off Challenge among 20 participants. The winner walked away with a Volkswagen Jetta.
