KUALA LUMPUR (June 2): Property developer Keladi Maju Bhd has declared a first and final dividend of 0.2 sen per share under single tier system for the financial year ending Jan 31, 2016, to reward its shareholders.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Keladi Maju (fundamental: 1.65; valuation: 1.8) said its shares will trade ex-dividend on July 7. The dividend is payable on July 30.

In its latest quarterly financial results, Keladi Maju reported a 12% fall in its net profit to RM6.8 million for the fourth quarter ended Jan 31, 2015 (4QFY15), from RM7.73 million a year earlier, on the back of an 11.9% decline in revenue to RM20.29 million, from RM23.02 million.

For the full year, its net profit was down 13.65% at RM18.53 million, from RM21.46 million in FY14; while revenue fell 10.71% to RM52.55 million, from RM58.85 million.

In a separate filing, Keladi Maju also announced its proposal to change the company name to "JKG Land Bhd".

It said the name "JKG Land Bhd" has been approved for use and reserved by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) for the company.

It added the proposed change of name is subject to the approval of the shareholders of the company at the forthcoming annual general meeting (AGM) to be convened.

"The proposed change of name, if approved, will take effect from the date of issuance of the Certificate of Incorporation on Change of Name of company to be issued by the SSM," it added.

Keladi Maju share price closed unchanged at 29.5 sen, with a market capitalisation of RM223.7 million.
