KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 25): K-One Technology Bhd has received orders worth RM20 million from a multinational company for the production and supply of high-end communication accessories to the latter.

K-One said in its filing with Bursa Malaysia today the accessories were intended for global sales and distribution.

“The awarded new orders are expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings for the next financial year of 2015,” K-One said.

For its third quarter ended Sept 30, 2014, K-One posted net profit of RM3.1 million versus RM1.3 million a year earlier. Revenue rose to RM48.92 million from RM47.7 million.

For the nine months, the company reported net profit of RM8.5 million from a net loss of RM873,000 a year earlier while revenue increased to RM131.9 million from RM119.5 million.

At 2.49pm, K-One shares fell one or 2% to 52 sen for a market capitalisation of RM211 million.

Over the last six months, the stock had more than doubled to current levels from an intraday low of 23 sen on October 16 this year.
