<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The 48-year-old is the founder and president of SCiTy Holdings Sdn Bhd, which is involved in real estate property development and construction in Malaysia and Australia, Ipmuda said in a Bursa Malaysia filing.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Sim owns 3.62 million shares or a 5% stake in Ipmuda which he acquired from major shareholder Maju Holdings Sdn Bhd in a direct business transaction today at a premium of 11.11% to Ipmuda's closing price of 80 sen.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Sim has experience in global entertainment, hospitality management, resorts and gaming industry while his company SCiTy has diversified into boutique holiday resort, and boutique classic car sales and marketing.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Meanwhile, <em>Bloomberg </em>data showed the direct deal was transacted at 2.50pm today, involving a single tranche at 90 sen each.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Maju Holdings is the private vehicle of Maju Group of Companies founder Tan Sri Abu Sahid Mohamed, who owns a 9.2% direct stake and 17.992% indirect interest in Ipmuda.</p></div>
