Earlier in September, IOI Properties has appointed Teh Chin Guan as its chief operating officer (COO) for property development and Cheah Wing Choong as COO for property investment.

Teh’s appointment would be effective Oct 1, whereas Cheah’s appointment was effective immediately on Sept 22.

Teh joined the IOI Group in 2006 as an assistant general manager in the property division, and has held various senior positions in Berjaya Land Bhd prior to that. He was promoted to general manager in the IOI Group in 2009, and was subsequently promoted to property director in 2012.

Cheah, a chartered surveyor with 33 years working experience, was the COO for property development in Tradewinds Corporation Bhd — a position he held before assuming the role of COO with the Sunway Group.
