KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 2): Instacom Group Bhd has appointed Dr Yeoh Seong Mok as joint chief executive officer (CEO), effective today.

According to a filing with the bourse, Yeoh, 59, has more than 30 years of experience in managing projects and is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), USA.

Yeoh has served in various positions, ranging from project manager to general manager in various private companies and public listed companies including Juma Construction Sdn Bhd, Astelle Construction Sdn Bhd and Suncon Bhd.

He was also the CEO for Pembinaan Aktif Gemilang Sdn Bhd, before leaving to join WY Consultancy and Development Services Sdn Bhd in 2012.

Yeoh was involved in managing projects such as Menara Celcom, Robson Height Condominium and Eden Garden Hotel, and was also involved in large-scale projects such as the Integrated Transport Terminal Bandar Tasik Selatan and Maju Expressway.

Instacom's current CEO is Anne Kung Soo Ching.

Instacom rose 2.5 sen or 15.2% to 19 sen at 3.23pm, giving a market capitalisation of RM286.2 million.
