KUALA LUMPUR (July 10): ACE Market-listed Inix Technologies Holdings Bhd has received an annual general meeting (AGM) requisition from its shareholders to remove its non-independent and non-executive director Mohd Anuar Mohd Hanadzlah from its board.

In a bourse filing today, the company said the notice was served by Tai Tean Seng, Jacqueline Lee Fei Fei and Wai Ai Loo, three shareholders who claim they have jointly held an equity stake of over 10%.

They are seeking to move resolutions at the AGM to remove Mohd Anuar and elect a new director.

In March, Inix said it relinquished Mohd Anuar, who is also the company's former group managing director (MD), from its non-independent and non-executive director post to carry out an independent investigation into potential misconduct.

Mohd Anuar, who started off as an auditor, had a stint at Permodalan Perak Bhd for nine years.

He was also the executive chairman at SMTrack Bhd and non-executive chairman at Milux Corp Bhd, in which he resigned from both posts in 2017 and 2019 respectively.

He is also chairman of MQ Technology Bhd, which he was appointed in 2017. Inix, which is mainly involved in software development in the information technology industry, has been reporting financial losses for the past seven years.

Inix's share price closed unchanged at 9.5 sen today, valuing it at a market capitalisation of RM28.33 million.
