The statement added that the showcase hopes to engage visitors in an experiential journey of living, working and leisure in the Selangor Golden Triangle, a city equipped with smart technology.

“As Malaysia continues to mitigate the spread of the pandemic and adjust to the requirements of the new social norm, I believe with the help of our government, our business leaders and our citizens, our nation can ride out this economic storm and once again be competitive on the world stage,” said I-Bhd chairman Tan Sri Lim Kim Hong in the statement.

“With the Selangor Golden Triangle Showcase, we will be leading corporations to come forward and do their part in getting our nation’s economy on track. We will be bringing in major local and international corporations to explore opportunities, match-make and, hopefully, develop new areas of cooperation to bolster or create new revenue streams,” he added.

Participating brands will include Huawei, HIKvision, SenseTime, GreenTech, BMW, Doubletree Hilton and activities at the event are free health, tax, and property talks, health and eye screening, test drive of the new BMW and Tesla smart cars, and a showcase of wax exhibits such as the popular Mr Bean from the Red Carpet 2 wax museum. Visitors will also get free entry to the Snow Village and other theme park attractions in i-City.
