KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 2): Hong Leong Assurance (HLA) has introduced its "HLA Stackable" online insurance available via its online platform, HLA Touch, with premiums starting from RM5 per year.

In a statement, the insurer said HLA Stackable not only offers Life Protection, but it can be customised with additional coverage of Accidental Death and Accidental Total Permanent Disability (TPD) as well as to provide Accidental Daily Hospitalisation Income.

According to HLA, customers have complete freedom of increasing, or rather stacking up, their life and accidental coverage whenever they need it, and this gives them the flexibility to mix and match their life insurance protection based on individual needs.

HLA said the unprecedented Covid-19 pandemic not only taught how precious life is but had also become a huge catalyst for the rapid adoption of digitalisation and contactless transactions, which had dramatically changed the lives of millions of Malaysians.

The firm said signing up for HLA Stackable is hassle-free with no medical underwriting as long as customers are healthy and have no existing conditions.
