KUALA LUMPUR (June 21): HeiTech Padu Bhd has inked an RM79.6 million contract with Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) which involves enterprise storage upgrade and technology refreshment works for the bank.

In a bourse filing today, the group said it has accepted a Letter of Award (LoA) from BSN for the contract, which is expected to last for three years.

BSN will decide on the commencement date later.

HeiTech Padu said the contract will have a positive impact on its future earnings.

“The board of directors is of the opinion that the execution of the contract is in the ordinary course of business and is in the best interest of the company,” said the group.

The counter closed 1.13% or a sen lower at 87.5 sen — with 146,200 shares traded — giving it a market capitalisation of RM88.57 million.
