KUALA LUMPUR: The federal government today tabled the Supplementary Supply (2014) bill 2015 amounting to RM2.22 billion, on top of the RM264.2 billion budget allocation for last year.

According to the bill, the public service department will get an additional allocation of RM287.03 million while RM1.24 billion will go as contribution to statutory funds.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs gets an additional RM26.83 million, the Ministry of  Federal Territories gets an additional RM34.37 million and the Ministry of Education will have an extra RM428.02 million. The Ministry of Health will get an additional allocation of RM200.72 million.

“The bill seeks to provide for the issue from the consolidated fund, a sum of RM2.22 billion for the services and purposes specified in the schedule for the year 2014,” it said.
