KUALA LUMPUR (June 7): Globaltech Formation Bhd shares fell as much as one sen or 2.27% so far today to 43 sen after the company said on Wednesday (June 5) its Australia-listed subsidiary NuEnergy Gas Ltd had terminated its investment agreement with Saujana E&P Sdn Bhd.

The investment agreement involves placement of new NuEnergy shares to Saujana E&P. On April 2 this year, Globaltech said NuEnergy had on April 1 signed the agreement, under which Saujana E&P agreed to take up a 51% equity interest, based on the enlarged share capital of NuEnergy via the share placement.

On June 5, Globaltech said NuEnergy had terminated the agreement "as Saujana E&P has not paid the extension fee by June 4, 2019".

Today, Globaltech's share trade was suspended from 9am to 10am in conjunction with the investment agreement termination announcement. At 11:40am, Globaltech shares were transacted at 43 sen with 707,400 units changing hands.
