KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 6): Gamuda Bhd shares rose 1.29% at mid-morning today after it said hearing of a suit filed by Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) against its subsidiary for non-payment of bills has been adjourned to Jan 8 next year, pending settlement negotiations between the parties.
At 10.12am, Gamuda rose 3 sen to RM2,36 with 753,000 shares traded.
In the suit filed in March last year, TNB claimed Gamuda’s 80%-owned subsidiary Gamuda Water Sdn Bhd failed to settle four electricity bills totalling RM39.51 million.
Meanwhile, TNB dipped 1.44% or 20 sen to RM13.72 with 584,100 shares done.
