Gamuda Land has launched the Gamuda Land Virtual Experiential Gallery to better engage with customers. As the name suggests, the digital gallery is built entirely on a 3D virtual reality platform that allows prospective buyers to have a 360° view of the developer’s properties — the first of its kind in Malaysia, according to the company.

In a press statement, Gamuda Land CEO Ngan Chee Meng said the gallery was created after careful consideration of the customer experience from the moment of entry. “We have ensured that the virtual gallery is relevant and complements our physical galleries. Our primary goal is to create a space for customer engagement without them having to be physically present on site.

“Gone are the days when customers had to look at 2D floor plans. Now, they can walk into their future home and check out the surrounding environment before it is built. Akin to our physical galleries, social activities and events will be held virtually from time to time, further heightening our engagement with customers.”

He added that the launch of the gallery was timely, especially with the ongoing movement restrictions and more people opting to stay at home.

The Gamuda Land Virtual Experiential Gallery officially went live on Oct 23. The web-based platform can be accessed at www.gamudaland.com.my/vegallery via any mobile device or computer without the need to download an app.

In terms of features, visitors can explore the gallery, have 360° views of the properties and obtain information on Gamuda Land’s local and overseas projects. A dedicated relationship associate (RA) will provide visitors with a quick guide on how to maximise their experience in the gallery. An RA is placed at each township display to highlight the latest properties and explain the unique features of the township.

Setting the gallery apart from other virtual sales galleries is the Video Live Chat function within a 360° virtual environment — also a first in the local property development industry. Based on the concept of a video conference, this feature allows the RA to answer questions posed by visitors in real time, face to face.

The platform also allows the RA to give a 360° guided tour of a virtual show unit. The Video Live Chat function is available for all properties and townships in the display section from 10am to 6pm daily.

Meanwhile, visitors can book their preferred property through the gallery. They can also make use of the debt service ratio calculator and obtain a report at the Personalised Ownership Hub section, after which they can get a conditional pre-approved loan from selected banks.

With the loan eligibility amount in mind, visitors can then choose their preferred unit and pay the booking fee online. The developer aims to make the process of securing a property easier and more efficient.

In conjunction with the launch of the Gamuda Land Virtual Experiential Gallery, homebuyers will be rewarded with a gold investment account worth up to RM9,000 with every successful property purchase made online via the platform. This promotion is valid for a limited time only.

Visitors to the gallery can also find out more about GL HOME (Gamuda Land’s Home Ownership Made Easy) customised solutions. There are various packages or solutions to help customers own their desired property.

Loyalty programme GL Friends gives members discounts on subsequent property purchases, offers from participating retail merchants and referral rewards. Visitors who are not yet property owners at Gamuda Land’s developments are also eligible for referral rewards when they sign up for GL Acquaint.

According to Gamuda Land, more features and attractions will be added to the gallery in stages. This will include live webinars, virtual events and interactive games as well as the ability to make Employees Provident Fund withdrawal applications. Another upcoming feature will be the properties for lease within a virtual environment, with more convenient tools to enhance the user experience.
