ACCOMPLISHED artist Datuk Sharifah Fatimah Zubir has long been known as the “Queen of Malaysian Abstract Art”, thanks to her paintings that incorporate linear forms and bold colours with distinctive gestural strokes in acrylic paint. Since appearing on the local art scene in the 1970s, Sharifah Fatimah has become a true mainstay, creating works of art being showcased at art shows around the world.
