KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Johan Abdullah has stepped down from Malakoff Corp Bhd’s board as its non-independent and non-executive director, following his departure from Lembaga Tabung Haji (Tabung Haji).
His resignation took effect last Thursday. According to Malakoff’s Annual Report 2017, Johan, 61, held the post since May 29, 2017.
Prior to quitting Malakoff’s board, Johan completed his two-year contract as the group managing director and chief executive officer of Tabung Haji on June 30. The pilgrim fund has a 10.318% direct stake in Malakoff.
