Celebrate Christmas with scrumptious delights at the food and beverage outlets at Resorts World Genting (RWG). On top of that, RWG has its own dining hotspots offering festive menus, heightening the Yuletide spirit.

Burger and Lobster

From now until Dec 31, sink your teeth into lobsters from the waters of Nova Scotia and flown over 13,000km to our shores. The crustaceans are served fresh at 6,000 ft above sea level at this restaurant, originally from London.

Burger and Lobster is celebrating the festive season with promotions such as five-bottle beer buckets, the Tower of London dish served with Moet & Chandon Champagne, and a soft-shell crab package with four signature drinks.

The Tower of London consists of an original burger, a Burger & Lobster burger, truffle fries, two original lobsters, a chilli roll, an original roll, unlimited chips and salad, and four signature drinks.

 

Cafes Richard

Immerse yourself in the Parisian chic cafe, Cafes Richard, with a decor akin to the stylish cafes in Paris. Cafes Richard will tempt your sweet tooth with a Christmas High Tea set.

Until Jan 1, guests can enjoy pecan tarts, butterscotch eclairs, strawberry mille-feuille and creme brulee, served alongside appetising savoury bites such as lobster on toast, escargot, foie gras tartlets and duck rillette.

Special drinks are also available for the season, including a Christmas tea and classic coffee drinks topped with creative Christmas latte art.

 

Park Avenue Lounge

Park Avenue Lounge sets the stage for a sophisticated Christmas eve and New Year’s eve celebrations with a canape and wine package at RM250 nett inclusive of a bottle of wine or RM500 nett inclusive of a bottle of cava.

Here, you can partake in a countdown to Christmas or the New Year amid soaring views of the resort while nibbling on smoked salmon crostini, Christollen roast chicken and honey glazed duck.

A special English high tea set with finger sandwiches filled with cumin-flavoured smoked salmon or rosemary roasted chicken cranberries, and delectable sweet treats are also available on Dec 24, 25, 31, and Jan 1, 2019.

 

Turkey

Having turkey on Christmas day is a tradition and RWG honours it appetisingly. At Genting Grand, the Coffee Terrace will be serving whole roast turkeys — with all the trimmings — at its extensive annual festive buffet spread, on the eve of and on Christmas day, and for New Year’s day lunch and dinner.

At Flavours in Awana Genting, turkey will be the main highlight of a four-course Christmas eve and Christmas day dinner menu, while wagyu beef is featured in the restaurant’s five-course New Year’s eve menu.

Whole roasted turkey will tantalise your taste buds in a Christmas day buffet spread at Rajawali Coffee House — mixed with a grand selection of local and Western dishes.

Alternatively, takeaway roast turkeys with its stuffing, and potatoes, vegetables, cranberry sauce and turkey jus will be sold at The Bakery at Genting Grand and Bubbles & Bites at Maxims Hotel with an average of 4kg per turkey on the eve of and on Christmas day.

Pre-orders open from Thursday to Dec 23 upon a full payment, with collection of the turkey on Dec 24 and Dec 25.

 

The Olive

Amid a glamourous fine dining setting, The Olive will be serving an outstanding six-course dinner on the eve of and on Christmas day. In keeping with the French tradition, the Christmas menu will feature fresh oysters and foie gras tarts to precede a main course of roast turkey leg or sous-vide Angus striploin.

On New Year’s day, you can tuck into fresh seafood with a choice of butter-poached monkfish or roast lamb shoulder as the main course.

 

Imperial Rama

From now until Dec 31, Imperial Rama, Level 2 of Maxims features two new signature dishes prepared by the Thai fine dining restaurant’s chefs — Thai curry pork ribs, and potato with minced pork.

At the same time, Genting Palace at Genting Grand will be debuting five new chef specialties for the festive season, including stir-fried eggplants and fish paste with XO sauce, simmered perch fig fish and yam with cheese and white pepper, as well as fried salted fish and streaky pork in claypot.

 

Christmas confectionary at Santorini Village

Kick off the season of giving by picking up gourmet delights and other goodies, ideal as gifts for your friends or loved ones, at the Santorini Village at SkyAvenue Mall, designed to resemble the gorgeous island of Santorini, Greece with a winter twist.

Amid sparkling lights and towering trees, a blue-and-white kiosk stocked with seasonal treats including Christmas gingerbread figurines and lollipops, delicious chocolates, mouth-watering cookies and traditional stollen, yule log and Christmas cakes.

Freshly baked Christmas confectionary and cakes are also available at The Bakery on the ground floor of Genting Grand from now until Jan 1, 2019.

 

LTITUDE

LTITUDE at Genting Club is getting into the festive mood by offering special menus. For Christmas, you can choose the sous vide turkey or herb-crusted salmon as from a main dish accompanied by a starter of scallops and prawns, as well as a bowl of warming potato leek soup.

For the New Year, you can start a delightful meal with smoked honey-glazed duck and seafood chowder before the main dish of a hearty grilled lamb rack or grilled rib-eye MB9.

After your dinner, settle down with a drink and a cigar next to a fireplace in the LTITUDE lounge, while enjoying the cool weather and taking in views of the resort adorned with twinkling lights.
