KUALA LUMPUR (June 11): Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd's (F&N) wholly-owned subsidiary, F&N Capital Sdn Bhd, has terminated its RM750 million medium term note (MTN) programme, which was expected to expire on Sept 26, 2028.
The Securities Commission Malaysia approved F&N Capital's issuance of the MTNs as well as a commercial paper (CP) programme in September 2013.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, F&N said the CP programme, also with a nominal value of RM750 million, expired on Oct 14, 2020.
"The programmes will be replaced by the Islamic CP programme and the Islamic MTN programme, both based on the Shariah principle of Murabahah with a combined limit of up to RM3 billion in nominal value issued by F&N Capital and guaranteed by F&N," it said.
F&N shares on Bursa Malaysia closed 30 sen higher today at RM26.20 with 49,800 shares changing hands.
