<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Nasharudin was PAS deputy president from 2005 to 2011, and was also former member of parliament for Bachok.&nbsp;</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>After losing the deputy president's post to Mohamad Sabu and staying out of the 13th general election, he was then appointed by former premier Datuk Seri Najib Razak in 2015, as the chief executive officer of the Global Movement of Moderates.&nbsp;</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In February, Nasharudin was questioned by the MACC in relation to claims PAS had received RM90 million from Umno, with the money suspected to be from 1Malaysia Development Bhd.</p></div>
