<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In a bourse filing, the group said the cause of the 7am incident that occured at Evergreen Fibreboard (JB) Sdn Bhd’s (EJB) premises is still being investigated by the Fire and Rescue Department’s forensic unit.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“Based on the management's initial assessment, the damages are not material as the fire only affected a section of EJB's wood pellet production line.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“Tragically, during the fire-fighting process, there were injuries which ultimately led to two casualties,” said the kitchen cabinets company.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Evergreen Fibreboard’s shares slipped half a sen or 1.04% to close at 47.5 sen on Monday (Dec 13), with some 3.12 million shares traded, giving the company a market capitalisation of RM402.05 million.</p></div>
