1.The government has extended  the Movement Control Order to May 12, even as Malaysia’s active Covid-19 cases drop to its lowest since end-March.

2. Digi.Com Bhd’s net profit fell for the first quarter of FY20, even as revenue grew. 

3. Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd has proposed a private placement that could raise the company up to RM580 million. 

4. The Malaysian Institute of Economic Research says that without the stimulus package, Malaysia’s could be experiencing a GDP loss of RM123 billion. 

5. CGS-CIMB Securities Sdn Bhd said today that it expects Bank Negara Malaysia to cut the overnight policy rate by another 75 basis points.
