KUALA LUMPUR (July 2): Ethos Consulting Sdn Bhd announced today the appointment of former Pos Malaysia Bhd chief executive officer (CEO) Datuk Iskandar Mizal Mahmood as managing partner and director of the firm, effective July 1, 2015.

He will be taking over the role from Natasha Kamaluddin, who has been redesignated as senior partner and director of Ethos Consulting, it said in a statement today.

Iskandar started his career with Arthur Andersen & Co. Kuala Lumpur in 1989, and had served several leading financial institutions including Bumiputra Merchant Bankers Bhd and Commerce International Merchant Bankers Bhd (now CIMB Group Bhd).

He had also held several senior positions at Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd, served as CEO of Malaysian Technology Development Corporation Sdn Bhd and was the first CEO of Malaysian Biotechnology Corp Sdn Bhd.

Ethos Consulting also announced the retirement of chairman, director and co-founder of the firm, Datuk Omar Mustapha.

"It is with great pride that I take this final step of retiring from this firm after 13 years. Ethos has been a special place for me. I am confident the future of Ethos is in safe hands and the firm will continue to be the country's preeminent Malaysian strategy consulting practice. I welcome the new leadership team led by Iskandar and wish them well," said Omar.
