ERL-Fare-Revision_1Dec15_TMI(Dec 1): From Jan 1 onwards, the fare for a one-way trip between KL Sentral and KLIA/KLIA2 will be RM20 more at RM55, the Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) announced today.

This comes after an announcement that toll hikes for PLUS highways are planned for next year. This year itself toll rates for 12 highways were increased.

Currently, a one-way trip between KL Sentral and KLIA/KLIA2 is priced at RM35.

For the high-speed train, discounts up to 20% are available when using certain credit cards, and ERL is in discussion to expand the list.

Users of the Touch ‘n Go card will save 10% during the promotion period and travellers can also save RM10 by purchasing return tickets between KL Sentral and the airport.

ERL will also be offering a 44-trip monthly travel card where users get discounts of 17% to 83%.

Senior citizens and disabled persons will continue to receive discounts of 30% on one-way fares on the KLIA Transit. – The Malaysian Insider
