Energizer together with Hamleys Malaysia — a renowned toy brand from the United Kingdom — brought some Christmas cheer to underprivileged children from Kiwanis Malaysia. Through Energizer’s “Power of Giving” campaign, the two companies pledged to give over RM20,000 in educational and fun battery-powered toys to improve children’s confidence, social skills and motor skills. Energizer is also running a roadshow at 250 locations nationwide to encourage the public to take part in the campaign by buying and donating Energizer Max batteries for the children’s toys. “When the public help power up these underprivileged children’s playtime, we’re not only doing our part in bringing smiles to them, but also helping to expand their minds through play.

“With Energizer Max lasting six times longer than regular carbon zinc batteries, the kids will be able to play with their electronic toys for longer. In addition, Energizer Max also protects these new toys from damaging leaks,” said Harris Hwang, Energizer Malaysia and Singapore commercial director. The Energizer campaign culminated in a grand event last Friday, with a host of fun activities including a Christmas band, carollers, Santarinas and a flash mob of Mr Energizers.
