KUALA LUMPUR: Endeavor Malaysia, the local affiliate of the global non-profit organisation Endeavor, is actively searching for Malaysian entrepreneurs across all industries with the potential to scale up their businesses globally.

“In the past seven months, Endeavor Malaysia has been actively searching the market for high-impact entrepreneurs to be selected for its programme of mentorship with top corporate gurus. GridMarkets Sdn Bhd’s chief executive officer Hakim Karim has successfully become the first Endeavor Malaysia Entrepreneur after passing a rigorous assessment by an international panel at Endeavor’s 52nd International Selection Panel in Jakarta, Indonesia,” said Endeavor Malaysia’s managing director Zaman Ahmad in a statement.

Following this, Hakim will be exposed to structured one-on-one mentorship by local, regional and international mentors.

At the upcoming 54th International Selection Panel in New York, Malaysia will be represented by Juris Technologies Sdn Bhd. The company and its founders will be evaluated together with a diverse field of candidates from 19 other Endeavor affiliate offices around the world.

Endeavor Malaysia welcomes entrepreneurs leading unique, scalable businesses to join its network through a rigorous local and international selection process. If successful, Endeavor helps these entrepreneurs to navigate their growth challenges by connecting them to over 3,000 global business leaders for targeted mentorship, access to a global investor network and partnerships for top talent.

“As an entrepreneur, I know how important mentorship can be. Endeavor can provide valuable support to Malaysia’s next generation of high-impact entrepreneurs,” said Endeavor Malaysia chairman Afzal Abdul Rahim.

Launched in November 2013, Endeavor Malaysia is a private sector initiative to build the next generation of global Malaysian champions, with JP Morgan as a supporting partner organisation.

Endeavor is a global high-impact entrepreneurship movement to catalyse long-term economic growth. Over the past 18 years, it has selected, mentored and accelerated the best high-impact entrepreneurs around the world.
