<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The group’s wholly-owned subsidiary EITA Elevator (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd received a letter of acceptance today from Prasarana Malaysia Bhd, making it the designated contractor for the supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning for Package ESC (E).</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>This will see EITA supplying and installing a total of 114 escalators for the underground works package and the GS01 to GS05 works packages.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The contract, which will not have any material effect on EITA’s net assets and gearing for its financial year ending Sept 30, 2018 (FY18), is expected to contribute positively to earnings over the duration of the contract, EITA said.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Shares in EITA closed up 3 sen or 1.87% at RM1.63 today, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM211.9 million.</p></div>
