KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 30): Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced eight new Covid-19 clusters today, mainly in Selangor and Sabah, with a total of 181 infections.
The eight clusters are:
· Rumah Merah Cluster in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah with 57 cases
· Telipok Cluster in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah with 10 cases
· Sembulan Cluster in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah with 12 cases
· Merpati Ccluster in Sepang, Gombak and Kuala Langat in Selangor (45 cases)
· Astaka Cluster in Petaling, Hulu Langat and Kuala Selangor in Selangor (32 cases)
· Titian Cluster in Labuan (11 cases)
· Gala Cluster in Seremban and Jelebu in Negeri Sembilan (eight cases)
· Meldrum Cluster in Johor Bahru, Kota Tinggi and Tangkak in Johor (six cases)
Malaysia reported a total of 799 new Covid-19 cases today with three deaths.
The three deaths were reported in Sabah, bringing the total death cases in the state to 117 or 47% of the cumulative deaths in the country of 249.
Malaysia’s total number of Covid-19 cases stands at 30,889, more than double the 11,224 cases a month ago.
