KUALA LUMPUR (May 13): Education solutions provider Eduspec Holdings Bhd has appointed Tanjong Malim MP Chang Lih Kang to sit on its board as an independent non-executive director.

Prior to being elected as an MP, Chang, 39, was the Perak State Legislative Assemblyman for two terms from 2008 to 2018.

He graduated with a civil engineering degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia and a masters degree in public administration from the National University of Singapore.

He currently has no direct or indirect stake in Eduspec.

In a separate filing, Eduspec also announced the appointment of Datuk Lee Chin Chong as an executive director.

Lee, 48, is the owner and director of Lee Trading Company with more than 25 years of working experience in trading.

He graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration from the European University of Ireland.

Shares of Eduspec closed unchanged today at 2.5 sen with a market capitalisation of RM27.55 million.
