KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 3): On the cover, vibrant colours of Guatemala trigger the wanderlust in us, as we live vicariously through renowned photographer Zung Heng, who shares his experience of life and Covid-19 in Central America behind the lens. A land covered with jungle, dotted with volcanoes, Guatemala is home to some of the greatest Mayan archaeological sites on earth.

Mexico usually comes to mind when Mayan history and civilisation are mentioned but Guatemala is all too often underrated in this aspect. Moreover, Malaysians do no need a visa to travel to Guatemala — a great reminder of the power of our passport.
