KUALA LUMPUR (June 1): Property developer Eco World Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld) has inked a memorandum of service agreement (MoA) with Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) to provide connectivity to future residents of its RM11.14 billion Eco Majestic development in Semenyih, Selangor.

In a statement today, EcoWorld said the MoA will see Eco Majestic's Cradleton terraced homes in Precinct 1 and Tenderfields cluster and semi-detached homes in Precinct 2 to be Internet ready when its residents move in.

EcoWorld president and group chief executive officer Datuk Chang Khim Wah said the group was pleased to be able to work with TM on offering high-speed Internet connectivity of up to 30Mbps.

"The Unifi-ready new homes [are] another initiative by Eco Majestic in ensuring the township is well connected and ready before we welcome our first residents.

"This is just part of our ongoing commitment in adding value to the township as we prepare to hand over our first homes before the end of the year," he said.

The high-speed connectivity will be a catalyst in creating a vibrant community in Eco Majestic. It is an incentive for homeowners to move in faster and for businesses to grow.

"We want to see the township flourish as a preferred destination for all in the Semenyih corridor," said Chang.

A total of 612 units at Precinct 1: Cradleton and 588 units at Precinct 2: Tenderfields will be Unifi-ready when delivered. Other precincts are expected to follow suit with high-speed connectivity as the project progresses.

Meanwhile, Chang said the team is working hard to deliver the dedicated Eco Majestic Interchange by the third quarter of this year.

"This will further improve the connectivity of the township and cut short travelling time to less than 40 minutes to Kuala Lumpur City Centre," he said.

Other amenities that will enhance the value of the township include the 20-acre Majestic Park located right in the heart of its commercial precinct and a lifestyle sports centre.

Since its first launch of terraced homes in May 2014, Eco Majestic has since introduced bungalow lots, cluster homes, semi-detached homes and apartments to the market.

Following the successful launch of its Karisma Apartments in March this year, Eco Majestic will be launching its Harmoni Apartments and Mellowood Parkhomes Phase 2 soon.

Harmoni will offer 900 units of 900 sq ft apartments. These 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartments will be priced around RM300,000 onwards.

Meanwhile, Mellowood Phase 2 will offer a total of 350 units of 20 x 70 (2,231 sq ft) and 22 x 70 (2,473 sq ft) terraced houses with estimated prices starting from RM800,000 onwards.

Registration is now open for these upcoming developments.
