<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>EC chairman Azhar Azizan Harun said the ballot paper was that of a postal vote which was issued to voters earlier this week.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The allegation against the EC of issuing the ballot paper before the actual polling day is defamatory and malicious, Azhar said in a statement today.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>He said the EC lodged reports with the police and the MCMC to investigate the matter and take any appropriate action.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“The EC would like to remind the voters and all parties to always keep their vote a secret and not to reveal the ballot paper to the public, whether through the online media or other means,” he added.</p></div>
