KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 24) : Dutch Lady Milk Industries Bhd is planning to strengthen its position in the food and beverage (F&B) sector -- particularly in the bakery and confectionery industry -- by offering enhanced products.

Consumer dairy marketing director Ramjeet Kaur Virik said the industry’s demand for high quality products has been increasing, and the company aims to cater to the needs of the players such as hotels, cafes and bakeries.

“Our main target is to provide high-quality milk to industry players so that they can offer better products,” she told reporters on the sidelines of the Food and Hotel Malaysia Expo 2019 here today.

Ramjeet said the company currently serves more than 250 cafes as well as 195 hotels and bakeries nationwide.

The products used in the F&B sector include the Dutch Lady Pure Farm Fresh Milk and Dutch Lady Ultra-High Temperature Processing (UHT) Professional Full Cream Milk.

Additionally, Dutch Lady has also been collaborating with the Malaysia Specialty Coffee Association since January this year to boost the products in the market, said Ramjeet.

“We are also open for partnerships and co-branding in the near future,” she said, adding that the dairy company will continue to look at new avenues and ventures to grow the business.

“Currently, our market share of the liquid milk segment is at 40 per cent. As a consumer brand, we will continue to innovate our products as Malaysians are looking for healthier options,” she added.
