SINCE 2010, Life Like Touring’s hit production of Nickelodeon’s Dora the Explorer LIVE! Search for the City of Lost Toys, has been entertaining children worldwide. Having discovered many exotic and exciting new places through cleverly solving riddles, Dora the Explorer will take her adventures to the stage at Resorts World Genting in November.

Debuting in November, the elaborate production will be held until Jan 1, 2019. The touring production arrives at the Genting International Showroom with a focus on a vexing problem. Dora has lost her teddy bear Osito and she needs help to find him. Sweeping through an elaborate setting and rousing musical numbers, Dora must navigate obstacles with nothing more than a map, a pair of boots, a backpack, Diego and her other courageous friends to retrieve Osito. However, it will not be easy as the sneaky fox Swiper plans to foil her quest at all turns. Engaging the audience through song, dance and problem solving, Dora will undoubtedly succeed, so she can sing her catchphrase at the end — We Did It!

“This is a great show providing learning and entertainment in a fun way through engaging audiences; children will also interact with the characters on stage. This continues our fine tradition of providing the greatest entertainment for the whole family. Dora the Explorer arrives for the first time in Malaysia to transport audiences into one of the intrepid adventurer’s thrilling adventures, brought to life via songs and dance,” Resorts World Genting vice president of promotions and entertainment Kevin Tann said.

Tickets for the showcase, from Nov 24 to Jan 1, are now on sale. Showtimes are 7.30pm, Mondays to Fridays; 4pm and 7.30pm (Saturdays); and 4pm (Sundays). There will be no shows on Nov 26, Dec 3, 17 and 24.
