<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 14): DKSH Holdings (Malaysia) Bhd plans to expand its chocolate chip cookies and chocolate-related businesses under the Famous Amos brand to Brunei after setting up a new sub-subsidiary there.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>DKSH announced today its wholly-owned subsidiary Famous Amos Chocolate Chip Cookie Corp (M) Sdn Bhd has incorporated a new subsidiary, FACC (B) Sdn Bhd, with an issued and paid-up share capital of B$100.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>"Its intended principal activity is to carry on business dealing with chocolate chip cookies and chocolate-related businesses," DKSH, a market expansion services firm, said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>"The board of directors of the company is of opinion that the incorporation of a new subsidiary is in the best interest of the company," DKSH added.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Famous Amos is a retailer of chocolate chip cookies as well as a selected assortment of complementary products such as hampers, gifts, chocolates and confectionery items.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>According to DKSH's Annual Report 2017, Famous Amos had 81 outlets as at end-2017.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Established in 1923 in Penang and listed on the Main Market since December 1994, DKSH shares were untraded today. It last closed at RM3.82 yesterday, giving it a market capitalisation of RM602.25 million.</p></div>
