KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 19): The trial of former premier Datuk Seri Najib Razak and ex-1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) president and chief executive officer Arul Kanda Kandasamy over the tampering of the 1MDB audit report continues for the second day today.

The prosecution has resumed its questioning of yesterday's final formal witness, Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) registration assistant Muhamad Akmaludin Abdullah.

As there had been some confusion over the labelling of documentation, the court had a five-minute break to get a copy of documentation that rectifies this confusion.

The trial has resumed with deputy public prosecutor Mustapha Kunyalam telling the court that the error in labelling the different sections of the defence's copy of Akmaludin's witness statement has been rectified.
