KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 26): Shares in Cypark Resources Bhd rose 2.94% this morning after the company and its consortium partner Impian Bumiria Sdn Bhd won a competitive bid to develop a large scale solar photovoltaic (LSSPV) plant of 100 megawatts of alternating current in Marang, Terengganu.
At 9.18am, Cypark rose 4 sen to RM1.40, for a market capitalisation of RM654.42 million.
The Energy Commission, which awarded the contract, had selected five bidders for the LSSPV plants in Malaysia, slated for commercial operation in 2021.
