KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 11): Since Datuk Wong Tuck Wai became the chief executive officer of IJM Land on July 1, he has been busy with several key matters, such as strengthening the brand equity, systems and processes, and also pushing sales.

During an interview with City & Country recently, he shared his plan for the company. This includes how IJM Land will look into providing products that are sustainable by nature, as it is what the younger generation wants. He also reveals that the developer has a wellness prototype product it is bringing to the market, which is premised on traditional complementary medicine, and provides other wellness services too.

Moving forward, there are also plans to expand the developer’s property portfolio by introducing mixed-use development products.

If that wasn’t enough to do, he has been mandated to look for property ventures both locally and abroad, particularly in London.

Read all about it in the Dec 12 issue of City & Country in The Edge Malaysia weekly.
