KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 20): Private equity firm Creador has trimmed its shareholding in CTOS Digital Bhd to 26.6% from 28.2% as at Nov 1, via the disposal of 38 million shares via Inodes Ltd on Monday (Dec 19).

The group’s stock exchange filing showed that following the disposal, Creador is left with 613.93 million shares, down from 651.93 million shares on Nov 1, when the private equity firm disposed of 50 million shares.

According to Bloomberg data, the 38 million shares were transacted off market in a single tranche on Monday at RM1.40 per share.

Prior to Nov 1, Creador owned 701.93 million shares or a 30.4% stake in the credit-reporting agency.

Shares of CTOS closed one sen or 0.7% higher at RM1.43, valuing the group at RM3.3 billion. The counter has fallen 20% year-to-date.

The stock was listed on July 19 last year with an IPO price of RM1.10. It rose to a record high of RM2.03 on Oct 15, before facing selling pressure in the first half of this year.

The counter fell to as low as RM1.08 on July 16, before recovering to the RM1.30-RM1.40 level over the past few months.
