From the total, 81 involved foreigners, with 33 from Nepal, 26 from Bangladesh, 11 from Indonesia and another 11 from Myanmar.

On May 2, the ministry identified the new cluster of infections linked to a factory worker in Pedas, Negeri Sembilan.
The index case, who started feeling unwell on April 5, with fever, cough and flu-like symptoms as well as breathing difficulty, was diagnosed Covid-19 positive a week later.
