KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 10): American infectious disease epidemiologist and the World Health Organization's (WHO) Covid-19 technical lead Maria Van Kerkhove said the Covid-19 pandemic is not over.

In a tweet on Wednesday (Nov 9), Van Kerkhove however said there are many tools that can prevent infections and deaths now.

“With more than 9,000 deaths a week, we must do more to prevent these with access and use of PPE, tests, treatments, vaccines and accurate info.

“This virus is evolving. Be ready and vigilant,” she said.
