KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 19): A total of 110 infections were found from four newly discovered Covid-19 clusters, according to Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

The clusters namely the Kapas BJ cluster in Hulu Langat, Selangor has 76 positive cases while the Prestij cluster involving Lembah Pantai and Titiwangsa in Kuala Lumpur has 20 cases.

Other than that, the Bah Bercham cluster in Kinta, Perak has five cases and the Kiambang cluster which spans Mersing, Kota Tinggi and Johor Bahru in Johor has nine cases.

As of today, a total of 319 clusters have been reported by the Ministry, said Dr Noor Hisham in a statement today.

Moreover, he said six more clusters have ended today including the Umboo cluster, the Bah Mutiara cluster, the Khazanah cluster, the Jalan Pantai cluster, the Bah Bangat cluster and the Bah Kasturi cluster.

This means a total of 154 clusters have officially ended as no new cases were reported in 28 days.

On another note, Dr Noor Hisham said a total of 9,167 Covid-19 positive cases were detected from the MySejahtera app — a check-in app to manage the Covid-19 outbreak as well as to ensure public safety. MySejahtera has 23.95 million users and 1.06 million businesses premises have registered for it as at Nov 18.

Malaysia today reported 1,290 new Covid-19 cases, pushing the tally to 51,680.
