(Sept 1): It is up to the police to decide if they wanted to act against former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad for joining the Bersih 4 rally over the weekend, Deputy Home Minister Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed said today.

Nur Jazlan said that although the rally ended peacefully, it was still deemed illegal.

"It is up to police," he told reporters in Petaling Jaya today.

He said, however, he had no information on the seven Bersih 2.0 leaders being hauled up by police investigating the rally.

"That was what was reported. I have not received any information." – The Malaysian Insider
