KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 26): CI Holdings Bhd’s share price fell as much as four sen or 1.05% to RM3.78 in Tuesday morning trade (Oct 26) on Bursa Malaysia from the water tap manufacturer’s adjusted ex-dividend closing share price of RM3.82 on Monday as the stock traded ex-dividend on Tuesday.

CI Holdings, which also manufacturers edible oil, earlier proposed a final single-tier dividend of 12 sen a share for the financial year ended June 30, 2021.

At 10.33am on Tuesday, the counter had pared losses at RM3.80, with 19,400 shares traded.

At RM3.80, CI Holdings was valued at about RM615.6 million based on the company’s 162 million issued shares.

In a Bursa filing on Sept 28, CI Holdings said the final dividend will be paid on Nov 11.

"The final single-tier dividend is subject to shareholders' approval in the forthcoming 43rd annual general meeting (AGM) of the company,” CI Holdings added.

In another Bursa filing on Sept 27, the company said the AGM will held on Wednesday (Oct 27) at 9.30am.

Year to date, CI Holdings' share price had risen to current levels from its closing share price of RM1.84 on Jan 4.

Its highest closing share price so far this year was RM4.28 on Sept 8.
