KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 6): Ladies undergarment manufacturer Caely Holdings Bhd saw 2.7 million shares, or 3.34% of the group's total 80.92 million shares, crossed off-market today.

According to Bloomberg data, the shares were transacted in one block worth a total of RM3.29 million.

The transactions were carried out at RM1.22 per share, a 1.67% premium to today's closing price of RM1.20. The parties involved in the transaction are not immediately known.

Last week, Caely's filing to Bursa Malaysia showed that Penang-based businessman Datuk Seri Goh Choon Kim has emerged as its substantial shareholder.

Goh bought 1.7 million Caely shares (2.1%) on Aug 27. He acquired another 2.1 million of shares (2.6%) on Aug 29, and a further 3.3 million shares (4.08%) on Sept 3 via direct business transactions.

This brings his total shareholding to 13.27% or 10.73 million shares in Caely.

Goh is the chairman of GTM Property, which has interests in property development, as well as hospitality and leisure.

Shares of Caely closed two sen or 1.64% lower at RM1.20 today, for a market capitalisation of RM97.11 million. Over the past year, the counter has risen 182.35% from 42.5 sen.
