KUALA LUMPUR (March 24): Netposa Technologies Ltd has ceased to be the largest shareholder of Cabnet Holdings Bhd after the 20% stake the former held via Netposa Technologies (HK) Ltd was disposed of.

According to Cabnet's filings with Bursa Malaysia today, Netposa Technologies's Hong Kong unit sold the 35.75 million shares on March 19.

NetPosa Technologies is a company that provides video-processing technologies, video-monitoring solutions and high-quality video storage products.

Meanwhile, Singaporean Vincent Tai Seh Kiat emerged as Cabnet's new largest shareholder with a 20% stake through his shareholding in Dragonbay Global Pte Ltd, which acquired 35.75 million shares in Cabnet on the same day.

Cabnet, which provides building management solutions and IT services, saw its share price close half a sen or 4% higher at 13 sen today, after some 604,100 shares were traded.

The counter’s share price has declined some 77% from its initial public offering price of 56 sen on May 22, 2017.
