<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The ministry said businesses can get a new approval letter with a new format which includes a QR code for ease of verification by local authorities.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>MITI had earlier given approval for 2,732 companies to operate as usual during the MCO&nbsp;and has extended this approval for the third phase, which will last from tomorrow to April 28.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“MITI will also upgrade the configuration system, namely the Covid-19 Intelligent Management System (CIMS) 2.0, for companies operating during the third phase of the MCO. This effort is carried out by CyberSecurity Malaysia and various private IT companies,” it said in a statement.</p></div>
